Discover Door County’s 11 lighthouses by land, air, and boat. Visitors will have access to unique excursions and exclusive access to lighthouses that aren’t typically open to the public, including Chambers Island, Plum Island and Sherwood Point lighthouses. A portion of proceeds will go to the Door County Maritime Museum & Lighthouse Preservation Society.

Roofing of the Goats - Sister Bay, Wi
Welcome the famous goats back to the roof of Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant with a parade! Watch the goat’s trip down Highway 42 and up onto the roof. This year’s Parade will be followed by the 11th Annual Goat Fest next door at Stabbur with live music and a Swedish Pancake-Eating Contest.

Beer Festival - Sister Bay, Wi
Celebrate father’s day weekend with craft beer, culinary artisans, and live music on the shores of Baileys Harbor. Sample over 150 beers from dozens of Door County, Wisconsin, Michigan and Midwest breweries, enjoy food from some of the best restaurants on the peninsula, and enjoy live music at the Maxwelton Braes grounds. The Peninsula Century Spring Classic bike ride takes place in conjunction with the festival.

Fyr Bal - Ephraim, Wi
Ephraim Fyr Bal festival is set for June 14. Festivities will include a yoga class at Anderson Dock, a pancake breakfast at Ephraim Village Hall and a pet parade. The highlight of the festival is the chieftain ceremony, fireworks and the lighting of the Fyr Bal pyr.

WineFest- Baileys Harbor, Wi
The Door County Wine Fest, located on the grounds of About Thyme Farm in Baileys Harbor, showcases the 10 wineries on the Door County Wine Trail. Tickets include unlimited tasting of up to 58 different kinds of wine. There will be food trucks and live music throughout the event, from 12pm – 4pm.

Hairpin 5K - Fish Creek, Wi
The Hairpin 5K Run/Walk is the longest-running 5K in Door County and a great July 4 tradition for runners and walkers of all ages. The race starts at 8am and takes runners up the challenge of the Fish Creek hill at the start, followed by a winding, closed road course down Gibraltar Bluff Road before we head down the famous Hairpin hill. Then we finish with a beautiful homestretch through the canopy and past the beautiful homes on Cottage Row.
Friends of Gibraltar Schools (FOG) has hosted the Hairpin 5K Run/Walk as a fundraising event for over 30 years with the proceeds providing all of the funding each year for field trips and enrichment experiences for students in grades K-12 at Gibraltar Schools in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. Your participation allows Friends of Gibraltar to continue providing excellent educational programs for Gibraltar Schools.
Your registration includes a keepsake Hairpin shirt, post-race snacks and your place in a Fish Creek July 4th tradition!

Liberty Grove Historical Society is continuing the “tradition” of the Antique Tractor & Arts Festival. A number of antique tractors will be displayed. Along with the tractors, a few of our historic buildings will open for a “peek-in.” Brochures available for self-guided walking tours. Hike the Fallow Field, fly your own kite near the Log House Museum, and be sure to take in the “Grandview” of Ellison Bay from the hill.

Door County Maritime Museum - Sturgeon Bay, Wi
As one of 34 official U.S. Coast Guard Cities — and the only one in Wisconsin! — Sturgeon Bay celebrates each year with a week filled with events, ceremonies, visiting ships and fun!
Mid-week, the County will salute the Coast Guard and servicemembers – active and veteran – of all branches of the military during the City’s Concert in the Park. Coast Guard personnel can sail around the Bay during the Yacht Club’s sailing adventures on Thursday. Then we wrap up the week with a picnic for active duty, reserve and retired USCG and their families.
